MARY M. DANCE (nee PERRAULT) Peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2004, at the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 84 years. Mary was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marie; her husband of 43 years, Bill; brothers and sisters, Larry, Joe, Raymond, Romeo, Harvey, Yvonne, Terry, Marion and Dora. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bill (Pat) grandchildren, Corey, Twila (Jeff), Leila (great-grandson Braeden) sister Irene; good friend and coffee partner, Bella; and all her friends at Columbus Villa where she resided for the last 15 years. Mary was always very sociable, meeting friends for coffee everyday, helping within Columbus Villa with activities (bingo, shuffleboard, cards and parties) - any activity she would volunteer her time and participate with great pride. She loved going to hear her favourite band play, and dancing to the tunes. She enjoyed playing bingo and picking berries out at the family cottage at Gull Lake, MB. Many a day was spent at the lake, assisting her in making her tasty perogies. Her grandchildren will always remember sitting in the gazebo at the cottage, playing card games all summer long with her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Concordia Hospital for their care, kindness and understanding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of ones choice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
